Do you love gathering in a community especially at Roots to Crown? Do you want a vegan alternative to the normal Thanksgiving celebration? Do you want to spend the controversial holiday with others committed to equity and a more compassionate path for all people? Come out to Roots to Crown on Thursday, November 23rd. At 4 p.m., we will be holding a group gratitude circle following a land acknowledgment for the ancestors who walked this space before us and held the light for us to come. At 5 p.m. the potluck dinner will commence after connecting into Great Spirit for a blessing. Please feel free to bring your magic to share with the group. At 6:15, we need to put on our quiet voices for a Kundalini yoga class that you are welcome to patronize. We will need to be cleared out by 8:30 for an exciting Doodle Night workshop that you are also invited to attend after our connections, conversations, and culinary delights. This free event is always open to donations to the space whether it be contributions to the meal or financial to keep Roots to Crown in operation.
