Come join us around the sacred fire for our Open Medicine Song Circle. We'll share some traditional songs from various cultures, some improvised, or whatever the group is feeling. The idea is to create a space where we can express our emotions through sound and movement as they arise, in a spirit of co-creation, holding each other in sacred ways. Bring yourself, your acoustic instruments, and any offerings you may want to share with the fire or the group.
All skill levels are welcome, this is not a professional music jam, but a space of healing where all are welcome. The event will begin with some vocal warm-ups, followed by specific songs to be shared (feel free to share your own songs, and we will all back you up!), and end with a bit of fun group improvisation. All are welcome as long as you come with the intention to create harmonious music. It is a free event, but donations are much appreciated to help sustain it into the future. Looking forward to having some fun making healing music together!
When: Wednesdays 9:30 pm - 11 pm (there's also a community yoga class & meditation before!)
Where: Roots to Crown
Cost: Free (We suggest making a donation of $5-10 or purchasing a drink to help support the space)
