The Sacred Sound Current
with Kirtan DevJeet (Joel Jadus & Friends)

We will gather together to tune into the sacred sound current and chant Sanskrit & Gurmukhi mantras, followed by a silent meditation. This is Bhakti Yoga (devotional yoga) and it is in order to embody individual and collective remembrance into balance, peace, happiness and harmony - for the betterment of All. Kirtan is music and storytelling shared in praise of God/Universal Oneness/OneLove/All That Is. Dev means angelic or divine. Jeet is to be victorious or overcomes obstacles.

The name “Kirtan DevJeet” was given to me by my teachers and these are the specific mantras that have helped me to overcome the obstacles of the ego mind and to live in peace, happiness and harmony in this miracle of life. I am grateful to share them with you.

About the Facilitator

Joel has been sharing the sacred sound current through Kirtans, along with many other forms of music medicine, for over 10 years locally and at various music festivals and community gatherings.
<p>
He began practicing yoga, zazen meditation in 1996 with John Daido Loori (Zen Mt Monastery) and many years later received YTT certs in Hatha Vinyasa/Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy (2010 @YES/StPete); Kundalini Yoga (2012 @aYogaVillage/Clearwater).
Joel’s most influential sanskrit & gurmukhi mantra and vocal teachers include Yogi Hari (Sampoorna Yoga), Dev Suroop (Kundalini/3HO), Fred Johnson (Vo-Harmonics).
