Guidance from Your Shamanic Facilitator:
In the Q'ero tradition, energies are perceived as either heavy (hucha) or light (sami), focusing on achieving balance within oneself and one's surroundings. What may be considered "dark" or "negative" energy is simply in need of transformation back to love and light. Contrast is essential on this path, and fire serves as a powerful medium to transmute these energies for the highest good. We approach this work with a sense of wonder, remembering to take the work seriously, but not ourselves. Rest assured, a safe and sacred space is meticulously prepared well in advance of the event, with intentions set for the highest benefit of all participants.
Event Overview:
Indoor Session: We will begin indoors with introductions, discussions on protocol, and a shamanic journey to prepare for the fire ceremony.
Outdoor Ceremony: Following the journey, we will move outdoors for prayer, song, and the ceremonial release to the fire.
Preparation and Attire:
Attire: In our tradition, wearing dark clothing helps keep our energy less conspicuous during the vulnerable moment of release to the fire, offering protection as we let go.
Offering: Please bring a small stick to symbolize what you're ready to release. Percussion instruments are welcome and encouraged to enrich our communal experience.
This ceremony provides a sacred space to balance energies within and around us, facilitating the transformation of heavy energies into light. Through the fire, we release what no longer serves us, creating room for renewal and alignment on our spiritual path.
